Defibrillator Funding

There are now many defibrillators sited throughout the Parish, mainly supplied by community groups sometimes through grant funding.  Whilst they generally do not cost very much to keep going, every now and again the pads and batteries need to be replaced, which can be expensive.

If the defibrillator is available to the general public all the time (24 hours per day / 7 days per week), and if the sponsoring community group is not able to fund the replacements, it is now possible to apply for a general grant to cover the cost.

To make an application, just download a form from the Grants tab above, and submit it to Emma (admin@kbpc.co.uk) with a copy of the invoice.  For this one purpose, the rule of not awarding grants for items already purchased has been lifted.

Full details of the rules and deadlines for submitting the form are on the link and also in the Grants Rules.
