General Grants 2025-26

Community groups are again invited to apply for a General Grant. The form and rules can be downloaded below.


Deadlines for receipt of complete applications: 5 July 2024, 25 October 2024 and 7 February 2025.

All applications must be accompanied by:
  1. The most recent bank statement
  2. A quote for the work / purchase costing up to £1,000. Two or three quotes must be supplied for work / purchases costing more than £1,000.
  3. A copy of the current Constitution, unless the Council already has a copy.
Applications of £751+ also require:
  • A copy of the last set of published accounts.
How much can you apply for:
  • Grants of up to £750 can cover 100% of the total project cost
  • £751 - £2,999 can cover up to 80% of the total project cost
  • £3,000+ can cover up to 50% of the total project cost
The maximum grant available is £5,000.

Completed forms with all the required supporting documents must be supplied by the deadline date. Incomplete or late applications will be deferred to the next meeting (if there is one).
