Ask Shelley

Shelley Community Association and Kirklees Council would like to ask you some questions about what life in Shelley village is like. They are looking for your views. Look out for volunteers from the village and staff from Kirklees Council out and about in Shelley from 8th to 24th October 2019. They may strike up a conversation whilst you’re at a community group, meeting or local venue. You’re also welcome to come along to drop-in activities, request a home visit, or take part online.

What will happen next?

We hope that Ask Shelley will give a voice to local citizens, including those who might not be active in civic life, and be the first step in helping local volunteers and Kirklees Council to collaborate in a new way, based around local aspirations. The results of Ask Shelley will also be used to help review the Shelley Village Plan, and to make some suggestions for the future.
