Small Annual & Clock Grants

Grants of up to £300 are available for community groups based in the Parish to cover running costs, equipment, summer trips, Christmas parties, volunteer training etc.

Churches and schools are not eligible for a small annual grant, but may apply for a general grant and a clock grant, if they meet the criteria.

NB: The forms are labelled 2021-22 as the grants are paid out in the next financial year.

Full details of the rules are included in the documents below.

To make an application please download and complete the appropriate form below.  You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible to allow time for it to be checked before the deadline.

Please supply a copy of your most recent Constitution, unless the Council already has it on file.  No other documents are required.

Clock grants of up to £250 are available to churches and other community organisations which have a public clock, to contribute towards their maintenance costs.

No further documents are required.

Please submit your application by email wherever possible, as the office is closed due to Covid. The Clerk is currently working from home and can easily be contacted by email.  There may be a delay in responding to telephone messages.  Please do NOT send your application by recorded delivery, as there is no-one to sign for it, and that may result in your application being received after the closing date.

Closing Date for receipt of completed forms & attachments:

Friday 30 October 2020.  Late applications will automatically be refused.

If you are delivering your application by hand, please put it in the Village Hall main post box, which is located to the left of the main door, when facing the building.
