Chairman 2018-19

Cllr Bill Armer has been elected as Chairman for 2018-19.  He is in his second term of office and enthusiastically represents the residents of Shelley.  He is also keen to support the residents in the wider Kirkburton ward in his role as a Kirklees Councillor. Whilst on the Parish Council, Cllr Armer has been Chairman of several committees, taking a particular interest in the allotments.

Cllr Steve Beresford has been elected as Vice Chairman.  He has been on the Council since 2011 and is especially  keen to support community groups in the local area.

The Chairman is the official face of the Council and attends many community events in the Parish throughout the year.  If you would like him to attend an event you are organising, please write/email the Clerk at the Council offices or clerk@kbpc.co.uk

He will attend if he possibly can, but if he is unavailable, we will try and arrange for the Vice Chairman to attend in his place.
