The Chairman, Cllr Cass Whittingham, welcomed a host of dignitaries and guests to join her for the Civic Service in Grange Moor.  The West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue & Pipe Band led the procession  through the village before the service, which was held in St Bartholomew's Church.

The Service was taken by the Rev'd John Whitney and the Kirkheaton Singers provided the musical accompaniment.
